No, we do not allow player to play "Up" or "Down" a Division due to insurance.

Refunds (less incurred costs and admin fees) are available up until and including April 30. After that, refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis and the Northumberland Baseball Association reserves the right to refuse refunds.

When will I hear what team my child is on?

You will be invited to download the TeamLinkt App when rosters are set.

When will we know the schedule?

The schedule will be available in the TeamLinkt App when the schedule is set.

Can I volunteer for my child's team?

We are a volunteer run Asssociation. Without our volunteers we would not be able to run our baseball programs and we'd gladly consider your application. Please see here for more information.

What rules are there at each age level?

See the rules document on our Rules page.

I have an issue with my child's coach. What should I do?

Please try to resolve this with the coach first in a non-argumentative manner. If you are unsatisfied with the outcome, don't hesitate to contact the Division's Convener directly. The Convener will discuss this with the coach, you, and possibly the House League Vice President and our Risk Management Officer, as necessary. We will ensure that any resulting actions are communicated to you. For serious non-emergency concerns, please email houseleague@northumberlandbaseball.ca

At what parks will my child play?

Please see our Locations page

My child is doing well. Are there opportunities for them to play more competitive baseball?

We hold open tryouts for the Rep program in the fall; details are posted on our website and social media and sent to our House League email list when tryout dates are set.

We offer the Select program at the 9U-15U levels (pending coach availability and sufficient player interest) for players seeking additional baseball at a higher level. Select teams are tryout-based and typically participate in a few tournaments, including the SOBA Select tournament, if they qualify. Select tryouts have happened already for 2025, but next year's tryout dates will be posted on our website and social media and sent to our House League email list when set.

How many coaches are there per House League team?

At the start of the season, each team has at least one Head Coach. Assistant coaches are often—but not always—assigned as well. We strongly encourage parents to step forward as Assistant Coaches. If necessary, Coaches are encouraged to reach out to team parents at the start of the season to recruit one or two Assistant Coaches.
